Our customer was faced with the need to adapt to comply with new regulations and the need to integrate a number of new and future acquisitions into the business quickly. This allied to their current position of having a number of different systems maintained by numerous 3rd parties enabling their core business processes left them with significant barriers to the growth and expansion plans that the business strategy demanded.

Initial engagement
During our initial engagement nShare identified the issues and core requirements to align the core IT strategy to the business strategy and also to identify areas within the business strategy which needed amendment to reflect realistic goals.

From the determination of the core objectives and a clear understanding of the customer’s business processes and operational needs nShare provided a number of high level design alternatives with clear cost estimations and cost benefit analysis to allow the customer to make an informed choice.

Working with the customer
nShare’s architecture team delivered a comprehensive architecture design encompassing:

nShare's architecture team also provided the customer with onsite architecture oversight and governance throughout the development and deployment of the solution acting as a design authority and point of contact and escalation for all architecture and design related issues.

Our professional services teams assisted the customer by providing onsite database expertise to develop, implement and execute complex data migration and database design tasks augmenting the customer’s own database team. Our engineers operated as part of the customer’s on-site team and instigated a mentoring program successfully transferring the required knowledge to the customer’s own team.

Onwards and upwards
The project was successfully delivered removing the barriers to the customer’s growth and gave them the stable platform to continue to build the business. The customer has seen significant improvements to the performance and agility of their business resulting an improvement to the bottom line of and an ROI to cash positive timescale of under 12 months.
